Point guide

Find & press

  1. Find the hollow

Sit with the knee relaxed. Slide a fingertip to the outer side of the knee, just in front of and below the head of the fibula, until you feel a dull, tender hollow.

  2. Press the opposite knee

If the left shoulder is stiff, press the right knee. If the right shoulder is stiff, press the left. Circle with the fingertip until you feel a dull soreness.

  3. Gently abduct

Keep the circular press and slowly raise and lower the stiff shoulder out to the side. Range often eases as you continue. Stop if pain sharpens.
