How TCM reads PMS
经前 · 肝气 · 脾虚
Each month hormones and Qi shift before the flow. For many people that shift brings breast tenderness, mood swings, irritability, cramps, bloating, or fatigue. TCM reads those signs as patterns, not one fixed label.
For cycle length, flow amount, and colour-viscosity maps, see Introduction to your Monthly Affair.
In clinic, common pictures include Liver Qi stagnation, Qi and Blood stagnation, and Spleen Qi deficiency. Cold and Dampness can sit with heaviness and water retention. Patterns often mix.
