Herbal drink for dry and dull skin

Rose (玫瑰, Mei Gui), red dates (红枣, Hong Zao), and dried longan (龙眼肉, Long Yan Rou) are a kitchen steep when thin Blood shows as dry, dull colour. Teapot or French press, not a long stove simmer.

In brief

In TCM, dry and dull skin often sits with thin Blood. This Tea Series brew uses rose, red dates, and dried longan in boiling water for 20 to 30 minutes. Educational food therapy for Blood support and skin colour, not a substitute for facial programmes or physician care.

FAQs

Quick questions

How is this different from Blood Nourishment Tea?

Blood Nourishment Tea uses weighed longan and red dates in a short 5–10 minute cup steep, without rose. This Tea Series drink adds Mei Gui and holds the pot for 20 to 30 minutes, with dry and dull skin as the kitchen framing.

Do I need to simmer it on the stove?

No. The kitchen method is boiling water in a teapot or French press, then a covered 20–30 minute steep. Keep the pot warm; you do not need an open flame simmer.

Will this brighten my skin like a cosmetic product?

No cosmetic guarantee. In TCM framing, the brew supports Blood when colour looks dry and dull. Persistent dryness, rash, or pigment change still needs clinical assessment.

Can I drink this every day?

Many people use it a few times a week. Daily sweet fruit teas should fit your pattern; ease off if you feel heaty, bloated, or sticky after the cup.
