Ying Xiang sits in the groove beside each nostril. Taiyang sits in the soft depression at the temple. Soft circular press only; skip broken skin.
In brief
Two points often taught for paediatric nasal comfort: Ying Xiang (LI20) in the nasolabial groove at the outermost point of each nostril, circled about three minutes, and Taiyang (EX-HN5) in the temple depression, circled about one minute. Soft pressure only. This does not treat acute feverish infection on its own.
Routine
In the nasolabial groove, at the outermost point of the nostril. Use a fingertip on both sides. Circle gently for about three minutes. Ying Xiang is the local nasal point for obstruction and a sensitive, reactive nose.
In the soft depression at the temple, roughly level with the outer end of the eyebrow and the outer canthus. Circle both sides kindly for about one minute. Taiyang is used for head and face comfort alongside nasal work.

FAQs
No. Home press is educational support for mild congestion between visits. Book if congestion keeps returning, or seek Western care for fever or breathing difficulty.
Once a day is a common educational habit when a physician has agreed home press fits. Keep the circles kind and short enough for the child's attention.
