Soft hand and forearm clearing strokes plus gentle Tian Tu and Shao Shang work when sore throat and cough sit with heat signs. Soft pressure only.
In brief
A paediatric Tuina set for sore throat and cough: clear Fei Jing on the ring finger, clear Tian He Shui on the inner forearm, push Xia Liu Fu on the ulnar forearm from elbow crease toward the wrist, knead Tian Tu (RN22), and gently pinch then knead Shao Shang (LU11). Counts are educational; ask a physician to show the grip first.
Routine
Gently stroke the ring-finger Lung pathway from root to tip about 100–300 times (清肺经).
Gently stroke the inner forearm from the wrist crease toward the elbow crease about 100–500 times (清天河水).
On the ulnar forearm, gently stroke from the elbow crease toward the wrist crease (rascette) about 100–500 times (退下六腑). Follow the clearing direction your physician demonstrates; do not reverse casually.
Knead Tian Tu (RN22) in the hollow above the sternum about 30–50 times. Soft pressure only on the throat notch.
Gently pinch Shao Shang (LU11) at the radial thumbnail corner 3–5 times, then knead about 100–300 times.
