Zhi Gou (SJ6) moves the intestines, Zu San Li (ST36) supports Spleen and Stomach, and Mo Fu is a gentle clockwise palm circle on the abdomen. A home set from the digestive map Insight.
In brief
Three steps often used for constipation self-care on the digestive Insight: SJ6 on the outer forearm three cun above the wrist, ST36 below the outer knee, and Mo Fu clockwise palm circles on the abdomen for one to two minutes. Skip belly work during diarrhoea. This set sits beside, not instead of, the SJ6–HT7–ST25 routine on the constipation Insight.
Routine
On the outer forearm, about three cun (four finger-widths) above the wrist crease, between the radius and ulna. Circle gently for one to two minutes, twice a day.
Four finger-widths below the outer kneecap, one finger-width from the shin bone. Circle each side for one to two minutes.
Lie on your back. Place a warm palm on the abdomen and move in a light clockwise circle for one to two minutes, twice a day or when the belly feels stuck. Skip during diarrhoea.

FAQs
Both use SJ6. This routine pairs SJ6 with ST36 and Mo Fu from the digestive map article. The constipation Insight Bite adds HT7 and ST25. You do not need both every day; pick the set your physician prefers.
Gentle clockwise tummy circles are a classic paediatric habit, but keep pressure very light and stop if the child is in pain. A physician should still name the pattern for lasting constipation.
