Chamomile, chrysanthemum, and wolfberry tea for acne-prone skin

Chamomile (洋甘菊, Yang Gan Ju) with chrysanthemum (菊花, Ju Hua) clears mild heatiness. Wolfberries (枸杞, Gou Qi) balance the cool so the cup does not drain too far. Kitchen steep when facial heat and breakouts travel together.

In brief

In TCM kitchen care, chamomile and chrysanthemum are used to ease heatiness that can show as facial redness or breakouts. Wolfberries gently nourish so the cool does not empty the body. Toss the herbs into a teapot or French press of boiling water, cover, and steep 20–30 minutes. Educational food therapy. It does not replace a physician visit for persistent acne.

  • Cover and steep 20–30 minutes. Cooling kitchen habit when facial heat stacks.

FAQs

Quick questions

Will this clear my acne?

No guarantee. It may ease mild heatiness that sits with breakouts for some people. Persistent, cystic, or scarring acne needs clinical assessment, not only a kitchen steep.

Can I drink this tea every day?

Prefer short courses when facial heatiness is stacked, then stop. Daily cooling teas can weaken the Spleen and leave bloating or fatigue, especially if you already run cold.

Why include wolfberries in a cooling tea?

Chamomile and chrysanthemum clear heat. Wolfberries gently nourish yin and blood so the cool does not empty the body. They are the balancer in this formula, not a sweetener.
